Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers (MRCS) relies solely on support from the public we serve. We receive no government funding!
To pay out rewards and cover an administrative expense of less than 10%, we rely on two major fundraisers and the generosity of individual citizens who for various reasons wish to make personal contributions.
MRCS holds a Golf Tournament annually as its principal fund raiser. The Tournament usually is responsible for providing approximately 75% of our Annual Budget needs. MRCS also has an Annual Media Recognition & Awards Dinner to honor those individuals and companies who made a significant difference in our success that year. 2008 Events
